Darby and Phoebe Huffman having been collaborating ceramicists for many years. Darby throws, and Phoebe sculpts and their work in no glaze red clay is exceptional. Recently we came to an agreement with the Huffman's to have some of their wonderful work at Summer House Design and on ILoveSummerHouse.com. Darby designed a wonderful "summer house" which is incised in the clay before firing. These pieces are made just for Summer House Design and can be found exclusively in our store and on this website. The red clay they use fires to a beautiful finish with no glazing, is dishwasher and microwave safe, and really enhances the flavor of anything you drink from it. Each piece is handmade and no two are identical. This Carafe goes well with Sunrise Coffee, another Port Townsend product you can find on this website.
